We make farm visits to ensure our farmers are local producers! Vendors who wish to sell at this market must certify in their application that they and their partners grow or raise their own products or make their own value-added products. This may include the producer’s family, partners, interns, employees, or a local cooperative. We define a producer as the person or group of people directly involved in growing or making the product. G ermantown's Farm Park Farmers' Market is a Producer-Only Market Make the Farm Park Farmers' Market part of your summertime tradition and experience the quality of locally grown food! Our market features a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, artisan goods, children's activities, and live music and cooking demonstrations. Event parking is located behind the Pickering Center. The Farm Park Farmers' Market is held at C.O. Club meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday at 5 p.m. Cloverbuds have their own activities that are appropriate for their grade level. For students in kindergarten through third grade, the Farm Park 4-H Club offers a "Cloverbuds" program. The Farm Park 4-H Club is open to students in grades 4 through 12. Students may choose to join a range of special interest projects including citizenship, computers, robotics, GIS, food science, forestry, horse, horticulture/garden, line and design, photography, and poultry. The Farm Park 4-H Club is a youth development program that offers educational services and family-friendly activities that encourage character development and excellence. Staff offer onsite and outreach programs specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of any group. Registration will be accepted through May 1 or until capacity is reached. Returning members, experienced gardeners and newcomers are welcome. Gardening experience is not necessary to join, just a willingness to learn and work in the soil! The garden season runs from April to November. They then harvest and share the produce among their members. Gardeners use organic methods to plant and maintain the gardens.
